Our Beyond Our Classroom Leadership Team are all volunteers who enjoy organizing field trips and experiential education workshops for educators. We serve educators living in southern Ontario, Canada communities of Alliston, Brampton, Caledon, Georgetown, Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener, Milton, Mississauga, Oakville, Orangeville and Toronto.

  • David Spencer is a Film, Location Scout, Outdoor Education Instructor and Secondary School Educator with a passion for experiential education, Aboriginal, environmental, ethics and outdoor education. He enjoys bringing educators together to work on common goals. Known as the “Field Trip King” at his school, he looks forward to meeting other enthusiastic educators on future experiential learning excursions planned by Beyond Our Classroom.

Dao Tran 

  • Dao Tran is a secondary school educator who specializes in biology and environmental sciences. As a teacher, she is committed to pedagogical development and innovation, especially in educational technology and outdoor learning.  She is excited and looking forward to meeting fellow teaching colleagues during events held by Beyond Our Classroom.
