Beyond Our Classroom serves educators living in southern Ontario, Canada communities of Alliston, Brampton, Caledon, Georgetown, Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener, Milton, Mississauga, Oakville, Orangeville and Toronto.

When we started working on our idea to form this professional learning network, we had to think of a name. In June 2012, we set up an online poll and asked over 700 educators to vote and send us their suggestions. The following names were suggested during our brainstorming sessions.

* Adventure Share
* After Four Learners
* After the Bell
* Backyardigans
* Beyond Our Classroom <— The name we chose.
* Beyond School Boundaries
* Beyond the Bell
* Education after Four
* Educational Expedition for Educators
* Experiential Excellence
* Educators’ Experience
* Explore More
* Go and Tell
* Learning Action
* Learning After Four
* Learning Circle
* Learning Journey
* Real World Experience
